KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI SMAN 16 BANDUNG
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the role of school principals' leadership in enhancing the quality of education at SMAN 16 Bandung. The leadership of the school principal is identified as a key factor influencing teacher performance and educational quality. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that school principals play a crucial role in designing strategies to improve the quality of education through curriculum development, teacher training, performance evaluation, student monitoring, parent participation, the application of educational technology, and stakeholder satisfaction measurement. Additionally, school principals face contemporary challenges in education, the dynamics of the school environment, and contributions to educational research. This study is expected to contribute to the literature on educational leadership research and provide practical insights for educational stakeholders.
